12 stores with the absolute worst names.

So bad they're great!

There are many important things to consider when opening a business. Perhaps most important is the name.  Its what people will remember you by, so you want it to be catchy and memorable.  But there are other times things can go horribly wrong.  So heres some examples and rules to follow when choosing a store name.

Rule #1: Try to be clear about what it is you sell.

I think everyone will agree that they do in fact, sell things AND stuff.

Rule #2: Refrain from suggesting you will catch a disease from your store or its products

When they said they have every topping, they weren't kidding!

Does one have to actually BUY the shoe to get athletes foot, or will just trying them on do?

"Please refrain from any dating activity with patrons, employees or passerbys.

Rule #3: Don't choose a name that would suggest something positive and negative at the same time.

Stupid high prices? Or stupid low prices? or just stupid prices meaning instead of 2.99, its 2.53?

Rule #4: Avoid names that would suggest patronizing the store would have a negative outcome on loved ones.

Do they specialize on bad tattoos for moms or tattoos for kids that moms don't approve of?

Rule #5: A storename implying abandoning, purchasing children or any other sort of human trafficking should be reconsidered.

Takes "I'm so sick of you kids" to another level.

Cheaper then those other stores where you buy kids.
